By the time a homeowner fills out a form on a lead site, five other contractors are already calling. Permits are filed earlier, and they're public. Most contractors just don't have time to dig through city records every day.
Pay-per-lead sites sell the same homeowner to everyone. You end up racing on price.
Word of mouth and drive-bys find a job after the plans are set and the crew is picked.
Every city posts permits differently. Searching them by hand eats the hours you should be on site.
Choose the work you do and the neighborhoods you want to work in. Change them anytime.

Our alerts are built from building permit records that cities and counties make public. We work hard to keep every alert accurate and on time, but permit details can change after filing. Before you bid, confirm the project details with the property owner or the issuing agency.
